Let's play Half Life in
Let's play Half Life in Virtual Reality! We are going to give this new VR mod a try that allows us to play the game with the HTC Vive and the Oculus Touch.
It’s going to be an absolute blast I seriously can’t wait to fight my way through headcrabs, bullsquids and vortigaunts within my VR playspace. If you want to go on this wild adventure as well and play as Gordon Freeman I would recommend you checking out the the complete guide on how to play Half Life in VR down here.
Installation:
1. Download the .zip file of the VR Mod from this link:

2. Extract the zip file into your installed root directory of Half-life.
3. Important: When extracted, set the "Read-Only" permissions in Windows on the file opengl32.dll to disallow file deletion, otherwise the file gets deleted when you start the game.
4. Use start.bat to launch Half Life with the VR Mod.
5. First time, go into game settings and turn off Full Screen mode (set it to Windowed, otherwise you will have problems using the main menu, doing game saves etc. on your PC monitor)
6. Enjoy HLVR on your Vive or Oculus Rift.
Change movement speed with cl_forwardspeed 175 etc (side, back)
