TencentARC/GFP-GAN is a deep learning model for generating images. It works on GAN. Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) are a type of deep learning model that are used to generate new data that is similar to a given training dataset. In a GAN, the generator network generates new images, while the discriminator network evaluates the generated images.
It determines whether they are sufficiently similar to the training images. The discriminator and generator networks are adversarial trained, with the generator attempting to produce images that are indistinguishable from the training images and the discriminator attempting to accurately identify generated images. The generator can learn to generate high-quality images.
