The agarose gel electrophoresis can be used to check the quality and quantity of the macromolecules such as DNA , RNA and proteins. Here in agarose gel electrophoresis the separation depends on charge and molecular weight and in some cases also depends on the conformation of the macromolecules. The agarose gel electrophoresis is routinely used for the analysis of PCR products, molecular markers, genomic DNA, Total RNA and proteins. In short the agarose gel electrophoresis is heart of the biotech and life science students who is working on the DNA, RNA and proteins.
