After 9 years of truck and camper ownership, here are Coral’s and my perspectives on the pros and cons.

Some of you have been asking about wheel/tire specs:
The wheels are 10-bolt American Force.  (Had to install adapter rings - which also forced the wheels out slightly further on each side.  A good thing.  Just the standard 8-bolt factory to 10-bolt adapter as required by the after-market wheels.  My memory tells me they add about 3/8ths of an inch to the track width - per side.
I had some really gnarly tires for the first 50,000 miles, great in mud etc. but also not snow rated, and the mountain pass near here requires tires with the snowflake on them so the heavy-duty pick-up truck expert I consulted put me into the Yokohama Geolandar A/T series - 10 ply rating, size LT275/65R20 126/123R  I'm just so impressed with them.  Quieter on the highway than my previous selection, but super solid cornering or otherwise.  (Think 'roll elimination'! ) :)
For heavy hauling they recommend 70 - 80lbs psi inflation.  If up at 80lbs, it's a rough ride.  If down at 60lbs, the ride improves tangibly, but then one gets a little more roll, and of course, the lower pressure plays havoc with tire sidewall life.
