De Morgan’s First Theorem
The first theorem states that the complement of the sum of two logical inputs is equal to the product of its complements.
De Morgan’s Second Theorem
The second theorem states that the complement of the product of two inputs is equal to the sum of its complements.
Aim
To verify De Morgan’s first and second theorem
Procedure
1. The connections are made for LHS of the theorem as shown in the circuit diagram using appropriate ICs.
2. The output is noted and tabulated for all combinations of logical inputs of truth table.
3. The same procedure is repeated for RHS of the theorem
4. From the truth table, it can be verified.
