The annual Japan Day event
The annual Japan Day event was canceled for the second consecutive year due to COVID-19, and this year, the long-awaited Japan Day was decided to be held for the first time in three years.
And this year, the evangelist led by Tomomi Iwakura has traveled from Japan to the United States for 150 years, and in commemoration of that, the first Japan parade in the history of New York will be held on the same day of May 14 as part of Japan Day.
More than 90 groups participated in this parade in the cloudy weather on the day. More than 20000 people gathered along the road and enjoyed the gorgeous parade.
