UPDATE Oct '16: Foot surgery was a misdiagnosis, chronic pain originally thought to be caused by foot deformity had a larger cause, in late 2016 I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (which flat feet, plantar fascitus, and foot deformities were a symptom of). The surgery left me in heightened and long term pain.

Original post: After the first few days after my surgery (which were filled with lots of screaming in pain and sleeping) I got the camera back out! Currently on bed rest and going to the restroom is really the most fun I get to have all day! Updates from Jan 9-13.
On January 9th 2015, I got foot surgery in an attempt to end my chronic pain. In the procedure, the surgeons made three incisions; created an arch, fixed a bunion and cut into my calve muscle. Left foot first, recovery time should be about 3 months, then surgery on the right foot and another 3 months of recovery. Crossing my fingers it works, and all this pain is worth it! Thanks for following me on my recovery journey!
