We take a stroll through
We take a stroll through the small and peacful Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. Occuying 440,000 people (about a quarter of the entire population of Namibia!) we start at Independence Museum and right next to it Gedenkstatue Freiheitskampf. It's then a short walk to the beautiful Christuskirche (gingerbread house).
Passing through Zoo Park and seeing the War Memorial 1897 to get to Meteoriten.
On the way to Windhoek Railway Station we see the beatiful St Mary's Catholic Cathedral Church and the Roman Catholic Hospital.
The Windhoek Railway Station has some wonderful trains outside but unfortunately the TransNamib Museum was closed.
It's then a walk through the bustling streets, passed Main Bus Station and the Wernhil Shopping Mall to get to the Hilton Sky Bar with amazing views of Windhoek and the surrounding desert.
We finish off the tour passing Supreme Court of Namibia and then back to Independence Museum with a final glimpse of Christuskirche.
