Want to add a voiceover to your Instagram Reel? Watch this video to learn how to record voiceovers in Instagram Reels.

To add a voiceover to your Instagram Reel, first start creating your Reel as you normally would. Tap the music note icon at the top. Then select Voiceover. If you don’t want your voiceover to start right at the beginning of your Reel, slide the playback marker to the point where you want your voiceover to start. When you’re ready to start recording, tap the record icon. Record your voiceover, then tap the stop button if you want to stop recording. To hear back the voiceover you just recorded, tap the Play button. If you want to delete the last clip you recorded, tap the delete button. Then tap Discard. When you’re finished recording your voiceover clips, tap Done. You can adjust the volume of your voiceover by sliding the volume adjustment tool. You can also adjust the volume of your original video, and any music you’ve added to your Reel. If you tap Edit, you can add voice effects to your voiceover such as helium, or robot. If you tap Edit Voiceover you can go back to record additional clips. When you’re finished editing your voiceover, tap Done.
That’s all it takes to add a voiceover to an Instagram Reel.
