A quick video discussing my thoughts on shooting the upcoming solar eclipse with GoPro cameras.
Use a tripod.
Use protune, lock white balance temp to 5600, or 6500.
Use a low ISO, you don't want the camera gaining up too much.
Use an external power supply if you are shooting the entire eclipse.
I think still photo time-lapse will work best
at 1 frame every 5 or 10 seconds.
Find a great subject or place of interest, frame it beautifully.
Wait for the dip to black.
