Southern Railway's Class 09 Shunter
Southern Railway's Class 09 Shunter number 09026 "Cedric Wares" has been a resident of Lovers Walk depot for almost 60 years, however today saw the shunter move at Brighton for the very last time before moving to a new home.
09026 has been moved to the Spa Valley Railway, where it will be preserved and in this video we see it prepare for loading at the station and above the yard.
Plenty of clag, with some rail warning detonators in there too!
73136 was also present to assist, but wasn't needed.
