We check out Leroys 2016 HSV Maloo LSA R8 and this ute is not stock... its modified and tuned to make now over 620hp!
This ute is honestly one of the best cars i think i've driven in a long time! i couldn't stop smiling the whole review with that amazing exhaust and supercharger noise!
now i did as you could see in the video very nearly loose this car on the first launch i did lol the rear was still spinning out at over 100kph! n somehow i saved it lol even after that scare the owner was such a legend he told me to give it another go and then i cracked it feathering the throttle just enough to stop it from spinning as i raced to 100kph.
This car scared me and i think every good Aussie car should! lol sometimes i take stock cars out and there quick but there not scary.. the stock GTS i reviewed never felt like it was going to bite me back if i made a mistake.. where as you could clearly see in this car you had to be very careful and on you A game lol
im very grateful to the owner for letting me take this car out as its one of the fastest most powerful cars i've had on the show.. and most would have said NO to me driving it..
I loved this ute and i reckon its gotta be one of the best ones out there this ute is perfect for the street with enough usable power to daily drive but also enough to scare the crap out of you! haha
