If you have recently installed
If you have recently installed a fresh version of android firmware onto your android TV box, this tutorial will show you how to enable your remote again.
This video is shown on the Lollipop firmware for the Amlogic S805 MXQ TV Box, however the same principle applies to ALL android TV box's running ROOTED firmware, not just our android setups.
ROOTED FIRMWARE ONLY !!!!!!
This tutorial can also be used for extracting the remote config file so that you can use other firmware such as different android firmware or maybe if you would like to use an operating system like, LibreELEC with your IR Remote Control.
Remote config files -
Only transfer the 'remote.conf' files as shown in the video - Our remote config files may not work, you may need to hunt down your own on forums, websites etc.
Install these two android apps
