Tomato Paste-
Ingredients:
*Tamatar (Tomatoes)- 2 kg
* Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
* Oil - 1/3 cup
Method-
* Take 1 kg fresh and red tomatoes, cut roughly, and remove the yellow
a part from the top side.
* In a grinder jar, add tomatoes and grind well until a coarse puree.
* In Wok, add tomato coarse puree, cook on medium-low flame for 5
minutes and keep stirring in between. (reduce tomato natural water)
* Add 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder and 1/3 cup oil, mixing and cooking
until it reduces to half quantity (15-20 minutes).
* Continues mixing and cooking until it becomes a thick paste.
* Let it cool completely.
* Can be store in an airtight jar for up to 10 days in the refrigerator.
