EU26 citizens are people from Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Rumania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Hungary and Cyprus.
And EFTA citizens are people from Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland

Work permit requirements?
Helpful Tips:
• Find the nearest Swiss embassy/consulate
• Enough money to cover your cost of living when you get the visa and move here
• Health Insurance that includes accident coverage for when you move here
Work Permit Requirements:
• Get a job offer from a company that is in Switzerland
• Your future employer must submit an application to the immigration or to the labor market authority
• If your application is accepted, it gets forwarded to the SEM for approval and then you are notified if it goes further
• The cantonal migration authorities will send a visa clearance to the Swiss embassy/consulate near you
