How to Knit the Purl Stitch on a Knifty Knitter Knitting Loom

This is the basic purl stitch done on the Knifty Knitter blue round loom. The purl is the opposite of the knit stitch. In other words, when you knit the front side is knit and the back side is purl. You can create a wide combination of patterns in your knit by learning to purl stitch with the purl side facing forward. The purl stitch is used in combination with the knit stitch to create stitch patterns such as basket weave, ribbing, and lattice.
