So, Make Me Famous, Make
So, Make Me Famous, Make Me Rich went off the air! And Cash Explosion is back by popular demand!
David McCreary was carried over from Make Me Famous... to become host of the show. But wait! David is joined by Cherie McClain who joined the Ohio Lottery in 2006 as a Drawing Host, and Sharon Bicknell [who hosted the first generation Cash Explosion with Bob Grossi (1987-1988) and Paul Tapie (1988-2004)].
The show was still called "Cash Explosion Double Play" up until 2012 where the show was now simply called "Cash Explosion."
Today, the show now rotates of having one host (David, Cherie, or Sharon) each week instead of having all hosts appear at once. Most likely to lower production costs.
