Model of the HMHS Britannic floating in my swimming pool, this is a completely rebuilt model from my previous video.

This is a model of the sister ship of the famous titanic.  Unlike the Titanic, the britannic served as a hospital, instead of a passenger ship, due to the outbreak of WWI.  Besides sharing the same design the two ship shared the same fate, sinking to the bottom.  On November 21, 1916 the Britannic most likely struck a mine dealing a fatal blow, sinking in 40 minutes.

This model is 5'8" long, and is constructed with roughly 5,500 LEGO bricks.  To get this model to float, it is filled with sealed coffee jars.  This is because water leaks thru the cracks between the LEGO bricks.  To keep it ballast, the ship is filled with coins.

To build your own, get your parent's credit card and buy a lot of LEGOs.  A 3d model to assist you in building your own LEGO Britannic is available below, you will need LEGO Digital Designer software installed on your PC to view it.
