Here’s a little video I didn’t have planned, but I just decided to go ahead and cover the repair of the self-drive gearbox/clutch on my John Deere JS63c lawnmower. I know its not my usual projects, but it’s something until next week and is quite interesting on how I brought the clutch back into spec with no new replacement parts utilised. Moreover, these mechanical wearable parts can’t be purchased, so I just altered a component of the clutch to make it work the way it should with the existing parts. On the other hand, I could have purchased a complete gearbox at a huge cost discussed in video, but that’s bonkers when a few hours revamped the old unit.
The Drummond 1900s Lathe 27 Speed Digital Conversion Part 3 (Smart Electro Belt Pretensioner) will continue next week.
