Implementing VLANs on the CRS
Implementing VLANs on the CRS Series has several differences referring to the CRS series used. Like CRS3xx, CRS2xx or CRS1xx series. In the VLAN itself, there will be several types used, namely Trunk Port and Access Port. Trunk port is a port that is configured to be passed through several VLANs. Meanwhile, Access Port is a Port that is configured for only one VLAN.
On the network, we often add several additional Switch devices to be able to cover all clients. So, if we implement a VLAN network, then we also have to distribute VLANs to clients connected to the additional Switch. By creating a link to an additional Switch or Trunk Port. We need to do this so that clients connected to additional switches can still be connected to the VLAN network.
