Bangladeshi farmers are increasingly relying on floating farms for growing crops, as more land in the low-lying deltas have been submerged due to rising sea levels. The 200-year-old technique, originally applied during the flood season, involves planting seedlings on floating rafts made from the stems of water hyacinths.
