Ingredients :
3 cups of milk to boil
1/2 cup milk at room temperature (to mix with custard powder)
5 tablespoons Vanilla flavoured custard powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup sugar for custard
1/2 cup sugar for caramel

Procedure:

In a pan, add 3 cups of milk and 1 cup of sugar(you may increase or decrease the quantity of sugar according to your preference) and bring it to boil. Till the milk comes to boil take a bowl and mix 1/2 cup of milk at room temperature and 5 tablespoons of custard powder and 1 teaspoon vanilla essence so that no lumps are left. Simmer the milk and add the mixture into the milk and stir for a minute so that no lumps are formed and remove it from flame and keep it aside.

On the other hand heat a small pan and add 1/2 cup sugar and let it heat until it turns golden brown.Do it on low heat. Do not stir or disturb the sugar and after it turns a little golden immediately turn off the flame otherwise your sugar will burn.

Grease your bowls with butter in which you are going to make the pudding in. Then pour the caramel into it and then pour in your custard . Keep it in the freezer for 20 minutes or until set. Dont keep it for long otherwise it will freeze.

Take your custard pudding out of the freezer and flip it upside down on a plate. Your custard pudding is ready. Enjoy!
