Peter Criscione: A Tale of Two Initiatives: How we got here, where we are, and where we are going

This Psychedelic Professionals Meet in Boulder, Colorado featured Peter Criscione, Field Coordinator from Denver’s 301 and active member of our own local community who presented “A Tale of Two Initiatives: How we got here, where we are, and where we are going”. Peter shared his insights as both a participant in and witness to the behind-the-scenes process, language development and impacts of both Initiative 61 and 58. He addressed some key questions to help inform the choices set before the community in this very important phase in Colorado’s psychedelic development.

About Peter:
Peter has been an active member of the Denver movement for several years now. He served as Field Coordinator on the 301 Denver Psilocybin Decriminalization initiative in 2019 and contributed both to the Mycoalition community discussion process this past year and its Responsible Reform Council. He also contributed to the discussion and language in the Decriminalize Colorado initiative (61) and took on the task of conducting a deep analysis of the New Approach initiative (58) language. He has a background in electrical engineering and English, over a decade of experience in technical writing and critical analysis, and was Managing Editor for a publication in the energy field for seven years. He works as a Research and Data Analysis Consultant and volunteers with various efforts to improve community.
