what can i say. this year started off roughhh.
--but as each month went by faster than the one before, my mindset shifted to wanting to achieve a personal goal that I had lost. that is:
to believe in myself through and through.
don't let yourself get lost in pleasing others if it hurts you in the end. it's a scary thing to feel unseen. but i encourage each of you to know who you are, know your worth and stay true to you.
the first time heard this song all the way through, it struck instantly and moved me in a way where i just had to create to it. art, in its many forms, has a way of reaching into the deepest parts of ourselves, and inspiring a flood of creativity.
music is a singers way of being open and honest to connect with others. and so dance is my way of almost showing bits of me as if you were reading my diary, only, it connects me and you to our reality.
thank you to every artist who showed up and showed out in this class. my heart is full, content, and inspired. and i may sound like a broken record but lastly, please be kind to one another. you never know what someone may be going through and it costs you absolutely nothing to just be kind.♥️
