Extract from the Tracey Ullman comedy classic "A Class Act" This sketch is a cutting, insightful parody of the British Class system where an airline Class Air, rather than using the usual euphemisms of 'Tourist' 'Business' and 'First' Class (and all the various and colourful derivations thereof) actually dares to be honest and classify its passengers as 'Working' 'Middle' and 'Upper' Class. This is just one part of 'A Class Act'. I would encourage fans of Tracey Ullman's work to get the DVD. However It won't be like this, this is the original uncut ITV broadcast from 1992 featuring the song "I am what I am". And I have a question for any Tracy Ullman 'insiders' out there - why Macclesfield? I agree its a small, petty class ridden town, but there are lots of those in England much better known, so why on earth pick Macclesfield? let me know - [email protected]
