How to Backup and Restore NTFS Permissions of Folders in Windows

In this video, I explain to you how to take a backup copy of folder permissions and also how to restore folder permissions. When you create a folder and give it specific permissions, it is possible to change these permissions in some way and at that time you will want to restore the permissions for this folder, so this method will make you keep a backup copy. Permissions for your folders so that it is easy to restore them anytime you want. This method is via Command Prompt, and I use the icacls command.
Backup command: icacls "Path\to\folder" /save "C:\data\permissions.txt" /t /c
Restore command: icacls "Path\to\parent\folder" /restore "C:\data\permissions.txt"
