WW2 German Death Card #73

In this video we take a look at the 2 panel death card is of Johann Thoma, a Gefreiter in 6 Kompany, Infantry Regiment 520.  He was born on February 19, 1906 in Kondrau, and was killed by a chest shot (casualty record says artillery shot) on December 27 ,1941 after surviving the French Campaign.  His brother Franz fell on June 8, 1940 in France.  He was a member of 2 Kompany / Infantry Regiment 289.  #ww2 #militaria
