290, The Legend Continues documents a first look at a "LEGEND" of the old south, the ATLANTA & WEST POINT 290 operating excursions in 1989. Trackside takes you along for an historical look at this Heavy Pacific when she was in passenger service between Atlanta and Montgomery. Next you'll visit the Southeastern Railway Museum to see the 290 as she was before her restoration. You won't want to miss the 290 as she powers her 16 car train on the Inaugural Run from Atlanta to Macon. You'll also take a ride in the Cab and witness the 290 as she makes her first revenue runs on the Atlanta Loop. All this and a few more surprises.

This program was made by the long defunct Trackside Video, A video company operated from 1987 until 2008 out of Lake Forest, Georgia & has been lost for 33 years. Most if not all of the Trackside Video programs are lost media and are hard to find.
