This is a tutorial showing you how to make a sound on a saxophone. Hope that you enjoy it.

I like the diversity and focus. Lynden is a true professional and keeps the classes interesting with a mix of what I like doing and from his observations what areas I need to improve in. He makes classes fun and is an excellent teacher who I would recommend to anyone.

I have been learning alto sax with Lynden for a couple of years and I never thought I would make so much progress. Lessons are always relaxed, friendly and progressive. Lynden works at your pace and increases your skills and confidence without any pressure; before you know it you're playing to other people.
He is interested in your taste of music and tailors the lessons around that style. It keeps things interesting, and he can teach any style at a pace you feel comfortable.
I wish he was closer to my house. Although the 50 mile round trip I take for each lesson is worth it.
I didn’t own a saxophone 2 months ago and certainly had no musical knowledge. All I new was I loved the sound of a sax and now I had a little time on my hands I bit the bullet and bought one. I then needed to find a teacher who was patient, specialistzed in saxophone, and could put things in layman’s terms with a relaxed manor. I found one, Lynden. He’s very professional, if you need the best look no further.
The improvisation side of things is a struggle for me but using Lyndens techniques have made a massive difference to my ability albeit my own ability at this moment in time us somewhat limited but he takes that into account and gently leads you to perform to your best ability. His dedication and positivity makes it happen.
Thanks Lynden for your unending patience.
Lynden's enthusiasm for the instrument is contagious and every time I leave, no matter my mood when entering, changes to one of almost enlightenment. His positivity really is a blessing, should be bottled.
Always look forward to my lessons , and Lynden’s enthusiasm and positivity has kept me going through the times when I’ve thought that I’m making no progress.

Lynden is highly accomplished, knowledgable & practiced - regarding improvisation, music & jazz theory. He will be able to teach you how to play the sax & improvise.
Lynden’s lessons are always both challenging and enjoyable at the same time.
