How to - Samsung Galaxy battery problem SOLVED.

Hi folks! From last 2 days i was facing a battery drain problem with my samsung galaxy y. And i just figured out that i had a spare nokia battery. Thought of making it work and viola! it did. The performance of Nokia BL5C battery is more or less equivalent to the original samsung battery.

The charger output specifications are;
Samsung : 5.0V and 800mA
Nokia : 5.0V and 350mA

Since the samsung charger has high current output, i used nokia charger and attached a interface switch which transform the classical nokia pin into micro usb inlet but somehow it didn't work.

I figured out that the samsung charger connected to phone without battery gives a output of 4.7V. But when i did with nokia charger in a nokia phone (nokia 101), the current dropped gradually from 2V to zero suggesting a mechanism that avoids overcharging of a phone.

I was unable to figure out a solution for charging nokia in a samsung phone, so i stick to basics, i charge my nokia battery in nokia phone and then insert it in samsung phone.

So i'm using it from last two weeks, will update this description box with results from time to time.
