The trailer for the Fox Film Noir, in which the newly married Ruth Bowman (Jeanne Crain), still coming to terms with the death of her father, joins her husband John (Carl Betz) on the SS Monrovia for their honeymoon. However, John mysteriously disappears and Ruth is frantic. She becomes all the more frustrated and afraid when no one on board seems to remember that her husband ever existed! They all seem oblivious to what is taking place. But are they? The ship doctor, Paul Manning (Michael Rennie) may be the only person she can truly trust. Is she losing her mind, or is something else much more sinister going on? With echoes of Hitchcock's "The Lady Vanishes", this movie is based on John Dickson Carr's radio play, "Cabin B-13" and it was shot on the same set used in "Titanic" and "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes". Casey Adams, Mary Anderson and Marjorie Hoshelle costar. I hope this compels you to seek this little gem out. Enjoy!
