In this video, I upcycle/repurpose 12 thrift store decor items posted by viewers to the Canterbury Cottage Facebook Group Page. A vintage pattern becomes a decoupaged design for a sewing themed lamp, ceiling fan blades become a giant dragonfly for outdoor decor, ceiling fan brackets and old curtain rods become metal yard art, a wood sewing basket gets a reverse Mod Podge label and container for rolling pins, hobnail milk glass lamp shades become vases for faux florals, a silver carafe stand becomes a unique candle stand, a wood match holder becomes a wall pocket for greenery and a bird’s nest, a wood box with dowel rod becomes a small twine dispenser and sewing center, a shadow box becomes eclectic wall art, an angel food cake pan gets a rolling pin pedestal and becomes a bowl for K-cups, a plant, or utensils, a glass candle shade and a curtain rod become an outdoor light, a two-drawer cabinet gets a reverse Mod Podge label and becomes a container for coffee and tea, and an outdated canister gets an easy makeover to coordinate with neutral decor.
