Easy Beginner/Cheater Binding Tutorial for Quilts

Here is the quick and easy binding technique that I teach my new quilting students.  I say that this is a cheater binding because the two ends of the binding aren't sewn together.  The end of the binding is tucked into the beginning, sewn to the quilt then folded around to the back.  

I will show you how easy it is to make mitered corners on your binding.

I also show several different ways to hold the binding in place while you are sewing it.  These include pinning it, using fabric clips, wash away tape, fusible web and fabric glue.
