In this video, we share a visit to one of the the best places to visit for horse lovers. Located in Lexington Kentucky, the LEXINGTON HORSE PARK is a working horse park and is the home to several Kentucky Derby champions. We visited on July 4th 2021 and spent about 5 hours exploring the barns, seeing the shows, and walking through the museums. It is conveniently located off I-75 and reasonably priced for a day trip. We will be back one day to visit during horse race season.

We are a family of 4 who loves to travel. In 2019, we bought a 30 ft. travel trailer and decided to make our dreams happen by getting out on the road. Since then, we have upgraded to a 39' Fifth Wheel Mid-Bunkhouse and a 2018 Ford F-350 Diesel and are loving the upgrade for our family. We have always LOVED traveling and now seeing our world on the road has given us opportunities to see and make more memories as a family. We are teachers and are blessed to have the same "vacation" schedule, so we make the most of it with our kids by being both weekend warriors and "school schedule" traveling--We call ourselves part-timers. We hope to share what we learn while exploring this beautiful world around us and inspire you to get out and see it, too.
