We are in deep with the potty training and I figured I'd share what I'm carting around with me when we venture out!
You may have heard of the "what's in my diaper bag" videos before, but here's a fun twist... Potty Training Edition!
It wouldn't be an episode from my channel if I didn't talk a tiny bit about Montessori at Home of course, so I do talk a bit about the Montessori approach to potty training: or toilet learning.

As a first time mom, my path into motherhood was not what I expected when we found out I was pregnant in March 2020.
Rather than focus on COVID worries and disappointment around how I thought having a baby would look, I started to learn as much as I could about parenting. With lots of time on my hands and determined to be a "good mom" I stumbled upon Montessori and fell in love.
Thus began my journey into being a Montessorian.
I have a passion for the idea that it can be accessible to everyone and am excited to share my thoughts on how I've been able to do it with a limited budget and living in a small space.

I decided to do this channel in hopes of helping others with some tips, sharing what has worked for us and also just to help other new parents feel less alone, especially during the COVID pandemic.
Parents and caregivers...we're all learning as we go and really just doing our best in that moment. This journey has left me feeling alone at times even though I know rationally that I'm not. The pandemic sure hasn't helped that feeling. I've found comfort in other You Tube content creators and maybe I can do the same for viewers out there.
I'm incredibly passionate about the Montessori education system and as a result, the Montessori lifestyle. We use a respectful and positive parenting approach and have incorporated "Montessori At Home" as much as possible in our small space.
