Alain Delon (born Alain Fabien Maurice Marcel Delon (born) November 8, 1935, Co) is a French theater and film actor, film director, screenwriter and producer. A movie star and sex symbol of the 1960s - 1980s.

He became famous after the films "In the bright sun" (1960), "Rocco and his brothers" (1960), "Leopard" (1963), nominated for "Golden Globe" as "the most promising newcomer among men". The owner of the award "Cesar" for the best male role in the film "Our Story" (1984). Officer of the Order of the Legion of Honor.

The actor enjoyed great success with Soviet women; his name in the mass consciousness has become a household name.
