This is SoundIron's David Oliver's drum kit -- and whether or not you know who he is, you'll want to play this 1980's Pearl DLX kit with sticks, hot rods and brushes. SoundIron released this 40GB library a little while back and it caught my eye after someone recommended it in a forum. I've been wanting to try it ever since. It's just a great, all around, deep-sampled kit that offers about a billion articulations for each piece of the kit, plus multiple options like sticks, hot rods, brushes and mallets for the crashes. Add a ton of Sabian and Zildjian ride, hihats, crashes and splashes/FX cymbals, and it adds up to a great piece of kit, as the Brits like to say.
