Many people feel that Genshin
Many people feel that Genshin has a problem: the filler patches.
I feel the same frustrations, but don’t entirely agree.
It’s pretty common for people to point to the floods of money pouring into Genshin, the unbelievable profit margins Hoyo are seeing on any investment they make into the game, and the fairly typical size of their team by triple-A standards, and make the obvious conclusion that they could solve this problem by hiring more people.
Sadly, it’s not that simple.
Let’s take a look at why people feel this way, whether it’s actually something Hoyo should invest time into, and think through some potential solutions — including that obvious one which might not work.
