How to Set the Default Video Player in Windows 10

Windows 10 has a built-in
Windows 10 has a built-in video player, however you can also download third-party players which can play videos and a host of other different media files. In this video I'll show you how you can set the default video player with this simple step-by-step guide.
1. Once your Windows 10 PC loads up, go down to the bottom left-hand corner and click on the Windows icon.
2. Once the menu opens, click on the little gear icon, also known as "settings" on the left-hand side.
3. From the menu on the left-hand side, click on "default apps".
4. Once the default apps menu opens up, scroll down until you can see "video player".
5. Click on the video player icon and choose from the available video players installed on your PC.
If you want to play individual files, such as MP4 or MOV with a different media player. By default, then click on the "choose default application by file type" at the bottom of the page and select the appropriate media player you want to use for each individual file.
