It took me EIGHT YEARS
It took me EIGHT YEARS to find out that you can skip the beginning of the game, and without entering Diamond City, go straight to Nick Valentine in Fallout 4. I became curious about what would change in such a case, like some dialogues. Will the scene with Piper near the gates of Diamond City still happen, and will Nick be involved? To check this, I went straight to the vault to rescue Valentine, killed a bunch of gangsters, and released the detective. After a while, we got out of that location, and then we had a dialogue. If you go to him after his secretary tells you about his location, you can inform him about it. But since I found him myself, here's what my character said.
