Shooting Silhouettes in the Midday Sun: Take and Make Great Photography with Gavin Hoey

The key to a good silhouette photo is contrast and in the middle of the day, with the sun overhead that's not so easy to do. However Gavin Hoey has some top photography tips which will help you make the perfect silhouette shot every time.

Once the basic technique is mastered, Gavin steps it up a level by adding smoke, a pop of flash and some Photoshop tips to create an misty silhouette image.
