A fun polymer clay technique
A fun polymer clay technique for making faux carved turquoise using IOD Decor Moulds. We mixed and conditioned our clay using a pasta roller. We baked the pieces for 1 hour at 275, and cooled completely before beginning to sand. They don't look that awesome until you start sanding, then you reveal their magic. We sealed with Krylon Matte Sealer and used art basics paint from the local craft stores. To achieve the perfect color: 2.5 oz Turquoise, 2 oz white, .5 oz Wasabi, .25 oz black.
Now, go make something beautiful! xoxo the IOD sisters
