Unbelievable Trick to Change an Above Ground Pool Hose—NO WATER LOSS!

The hose that came with my pool only lasted 2 season. When I installed it on my 3rd season, I noticed that one of the hose already developed some leaks so I simply cut the broken area and went ahead with my installation. After a couple of days another leak developed in the other hoses. I patched them with silicone tape. I noticed that I keep getting new leaks on different parts especially on hoses that is exposed in the sun the most so before it burst I decided to just buy a replacement hose from Amazon and replace the hose that are already brittle.
I have a small 14' x 8.2' x 39.5" Bestway Above Ground swimming pool and because it is small, it does not come with a valve. However, the package comes with a plug that you can use in this situation so if you do not have an option to simply close the valve while replacing your hoses make sure to check the original package and look for the plugs. If you do not have a plug you can simply use the law of gravity to prevent losing water while you are doing your repair by putting the other end of the hose higher than the input and output holes. Then you can simply use your palm to cover the hole and switch the hose quickly one at a time.
