GEOINT 2023 Foreword Panel: Privacy and Security in the Metaverse

As the metaverse matures, the national security community faces some unique considerations. This panel explores how AdTech and National Security elements are addressing matters related to the balance of personal privacy and security, including addressing matters related to how much moderation is enough or too much, and how public or anonymized should location data be, especially when aggregation of big data could mean that individually anonymized data can pinpoint individuals and their activities. Join this panel as we prove these and related matters that need purposeful attention to ensure the metaverse is a safe and secure domain.
