Emma Kok "Voilà" Will Make You Cry! (Reaction)

In 2023, Emma Kok set our hearts aflame with this French torch song. Voilà was originally sung by Barbara Pravi at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, where it was placed 2nd. It's hard to believe it didn't win but such is the nature of music competitions. Channeling Edith Piaf, the song is written in the old style of French Chanson, inspiring the listener to go with the singer on an emotional journey together.  

Emma Kok suffers from a rare, chronic illness called 'gastroparesis' - a paralysed stomach. Every day, she receives food through feeding tubes. Emma rises above her condition with a huge performance of this song which has the Andre Rieu audience reduced to tears. Emma's emotional message is clear: live your life, be grateful and don't let anything old you back from achieving your dreams.
