8. Logic Gates and How to Use a Breadboard

There are 7 basic gates, called the primitives, that are used in  digital electronics. These are the AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, XNOR, and Inverter. The function of each gate is discussed along with its Boolean  expression and truth table. A sample circuit is built and tested using a logic probe and multimeter.
