SYOS Mouthpiece Test - Negative Harmony Cherokee !

This is my first test of the SYOS Shape Your Own Sound mouthpiece TB8 model. Uniquely these pieces are custom made to suit the player's requirements. After thirty years of playing metal, high baffle mouthpieces, this is the first plastic or ebonite mouthpiece that has me convinced. SYOS mouthpieces are 3D printed and posted over from Paris. This is a young company with a lot of energy and ambition, and a unique business model. They have already convinced the likes of Joshua Redman and Chris Bullock to play their products, and are all over the internet promoting live events and performances.

The tenor sax I am playing is my trusty Signature Custom Raw, made by the Trevor James company in Kent, England. The sax has been customised for me, in collaboration with their technical guru David Farley.
