Close call at NY's JFK airport as two planes nearly collide

A Delta jet was about to take off from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport when the pilot suddenly brakes moments before a near collision with an American Airlines plane. The Delta flight returned to the gate where passengers and crew members deplaned. The FAA and NTSB are investigating.
