WHY IS GRASS CLOGGING UP IN MY MOWER???? 3 possible reasons why, and the simple fixes.

Hi everyone

In this video, I try help you find out why your mower might be clogging up with grass every time you mow the lawn.
There is 3 possible reason why this may be happening.
1. A clogged dirty grass catcher. A dirty catcher maybe preventing airflow to pass through the catcher vents, restricting the grass to be blown to the back of the catcher, causing the grass tunnel on your mower to block up.
2. Worn blades. On mower blades you have a section of the blade called, the lift. This sits on the opposite side of the mower blade to the actual cutting section of the blade. If this is worn down flat, it will not be creating the 'lift up' effect forcing the grass through to the mower tunnel into the catcher bag.
3. Clogged mower deck. A clogged mower deck of old dry grass can restrict the volume of air that moves around underneaths the cutter, and again moving the grass at good speed through tunnel into the cutter deck.
