Mirzai Shirazi Street (formerly Nader
Mirzai Shirazi Street (formerly Nader Shah Street) is a north-south street in the center of Tehran that leads to Karim Khan Street in the south and Shahid Motahari (formerly the Peacock Throne) in the north.
This street is famous for its numerous doll shops. In December, when Christians celebrate the New Year, Mirzai Shirazi Street becomes a Christmas market, and many of its shops sell pine trees, colored balls, yarn, dolls, snowmen, and sprinkle happy colors on this street.
Other attractions of this street include its many cafes, restaurants, pastries, sandwiches and doll shops. On Valentine's Day, doll shops on Mirzai Shirazi Street sell items related to this day. Golden Confectionery and Golden Sandwich are the two busiest shops on this street.
